Manchester United are reportedly interested in acquiring the services of two young and talented forwards, Benjamin Seško of RB Leipzig and Hugo Ekitiké of Eintracht Frankfurt, to bolster their attacking options in the summer.
According to Sky Germany, the Premier League side is unhappy with the performances of Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Højlund and is exploring alternative options to strengthen their front line.
Seško, the Slovenian forward, has a release clause in his contract that is dependent on his goals, assists, and playing time from now until the end of the season.
The current fee stands at €70m but can rise to €80m by May, making him a valuable asset for any club. Manchester United will face competition from Arsenal, who have also been linked to Seško.
Ekitiké, on the other hand, does not have a release clause in his contract, giving Eintracht Frankfurt more leverage in negotiations.
The French forward is expected to leave the club this summer, but Frankfurt will only let him go for a minimum fee of €80m.
Ekitiké has been in impressive form since the departure of Omar Marmoush in January, and his value is likely to continue to rise.
