“Pedri is the most important player for Barca”- Raphinha

Raphinha has opened up on who he think is the most crucial player for FC Barcelona, revealing that Pedri Gonzalez is the ‘heart of the team.’

This season, Raphinha has been in impeccable form for the Catalans, contributing to more than 40 goals this term.

Many of those great goals have come in clutch moments and have seen the Brazilian winger called Barca’s main man.

Nonetheless, Raphinha says Barca will not be where they are this season without Pedri, who has been awarded MVP in nine of his last 11 matches for the Blaugrana in La Liga.

Speaking to Barca’s media team, Raphinha revealed who Barca’s most important player is and how the team is shaping up for the final bit of the season.

“Pedri doesn’t have many assists, he doesn’t have a lot of goals but he is the most important player on our team. I think Pedri is the heart of this team”, he said.
