Ruben Amorim’s wife forms unlikely friendship with Premier League star’s partner

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim may be navigating a challenging first season at Old Trafford, but off the pitch, his wife, Maria Joao Diogo, is settling into life in England in unexpected ways.

According to The Sun, Maria has formed a close and somewhat surprising friendship with Natalia Loewe, the wife of Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker.

Despite their husbands being on opposite sides of one of English football’s fiercest rivalries, the two women have bonded while adjusting to life in Cheshire, where both families reside.

Maria’s social circle in Manchester is set to expand further with the arrival of another familiar face.

Hugo Viana, who is expected to become Manchester City’s next director of football, will be moving to the city with his wife, Raquel Viana.

Raquel, a longtime friend and business partner of Maria, co-owns the interior design firm Dois Tons, which they founded in Portugal.

Their business venture has now become a bridge to renewed companionship as they prepare to reunite in Manchester.
