Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois have raised concerns about Arsenal’s Set-piece threat ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League clash at the Emirates but assures everyone of their confidence to deal with them.
Courtois admits that Real Madrid could be rattled by Arsenal’s set-piece danger heading into Tuesday night’s most-anticipated encounter.
The former Chelsea goalkeeper, who was doubtful to make the squad over an injury, has recovered in time to be involved in Madrid’s squad to face Arsenal on Tuesday, but six other players will be absent from Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.

The Los Blanco come into the first leg of the quarter-final tie against their English counterparts off the back of a 2-1 loss to Valencia in La Liga, in which they conceded from a corner for the 10th time in this season.
The reigning Spanish Champions have proven weak when defending dead balls, and they come up against an Arsenal side with an appetite for scoring from set-pieces.

However, the 32-year-old goalkeeper is confident they can deal with the danger that looms ahead.
“We’ve worked on it. We know how we have to try to defend against them,” Courtois told reporters.
“The first thing is not to concede too many corners. It’s a matter of concentration, activation – sometimes the quality of the opponent plays a factor too.
“If the ball arrives perfectly, it’s difficult to defend. But we are ready to do it, we believe that what we have prepared will work out well for us.”
The Belgium international further acknowledged the respect he had for Mikel Arteta’s young assembled side and how good they can defend.
He added: “We have a lot of respect for Arsenal. I have a lot of friends who are Arsenal fans.
“I know they’ve been doing great in the Premier League. They’re a young team, a strong defence, on the counter and set pieces.”
