Nepalese top-flight Division side FC Chitwan has announced the re-signing of experienced playmaker Torric Jebrin to boost their attack ahead of the upcoming season.

The 29-year-old Ghanaian midfielder, who previously played for Accra Hearts of Oak, brings a wealth of experience and creativity to the squad.

Jebrin’s football journey has taken him to various leagues, including the Nepalese A Division, where he played for Friends Club in 2022.

He initially joined FC Chitwan in September 2023 but departed midway, making his return a highly anticipated one among supporters.

Interestingly, FC Chitwan will be the twentieth club that Jebrin will play for since leaving Accra Hearts of Oak in the 2007/2008 season.

The skilled playmaker expressed his excitement about rejoining the club, by posting on his official Facebook page, “It’s great to be back. FC Chitwan feels like home, and I’m eager to contribute to the team’s success.”

FC Chitwan is confident that Jebrin’s experience will significantly strengthen their midfield and enhance their attacking options.

He is expected to make his season debut for FC Chitwan on Monday, March 31, as the team welcomes Pokhara in the opening match of the Nepalese Super League.

FC Chitwan has established a reputation for attracting top Ghanaian footballers, with several notable players having donned the club’s colors in the past.

Two prominent examples are former Ghanaian international Afriyie Acquah and former Asante Kotoko defender Mubarak Yussif, both of whom have previously featured for the club.
