Newcastle secured an emphatic win at St. James’ Park to pick up all three points, pushing their charge for the Champions League next season and moving up to the fourth position in the league table.

The win meant they will leapfrog reigning champions Manchester City and Chelsea after a decisive win over the Red Devils.

The Toons will be back in action on April 16 as they take on Crystal Palace in a Premier League clash at home. Howe’s assistant, Jason Tindall, will continue to take charge of the club.
