Harry Kane has been disappointed once again, after being made to wait just as he was getting ready to celebrate the first major trophy of his career, until RB Leipzig equalised.
Kane’s long wait to lift a major trophy would be extended by the kind courtesy of a late equalizer by Leipzig’s Yussuf Poulsen.
Kane looked embarrassed as cameras caught the Bayern Munich striker waiting to run on the pitch and celebrate the Bundesliga title, only for RB Leipzig to score in the final seconds to keep Vincent Kompany’s side waiting.

Bayern went 3-2 ahead, after initially being 2-0 down, but Kane was ineligible for the away encounter after being suspended, but was watching the game from the stands.

To his dismay, just as the England captain felt he was finally about to secure the first major trophy of his career, another setback emerged – this time even humiliating.
As the 31-year-old made his way pitch side to celebrate with his team-mates, waiting for the final whistle to sound, Yussuf Poulsen equalised to tie the game and make Kane and Bayern wait.
3-3 RB Leipzig.

THEY HAVE EQUALIZED IN THE 94TH MINUTE AND BAYERN MUNICH WILL NOT WIN THE BUNDESLIGA TODAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pic.twitter.com/NdJlMbEqVG
Kane joined the Bavarians in 2023 to win trophies, a feat he failed to achieve during 10 seasons in Tottenham Hotspur‘s first team.
Interestingly, the English international was met with another shock in his career, failing to collect any silverware during his debut campaign in Germany.
The club was knocked out of this season’s DFB Pokal in December and fell at the quarter-final stage in the Champions League in the current season.

Despite a mixed campaign, the Bundesliga is the one Kane will have been eyeing all year.
Yet, Kane’s dream of a first trophy has been put on hold as Bayern conceded with the last kick of the game.

In Kane’s response to the countless disappointments in his career for failing to win a major trophy, he acknowledges he is not naïve about the situation.
He rather takes the positives from all the setbacks in his career so far, revealing he has done most of the things he wanted to do in his career.
“I’ve done a lot of things I’ve wanted to do in my career so far. Of course, I know the team trophy is the one that everyone will refer back to, but ultimately, you have to do your best in every situation, and I feel like I’ve done that,” Kane told Bundesliga.com last month.
“Whether I finish with one trophy or 20 trophies, ultimately it won’t change my mindset and what I want to achieve and how I try and achieve it.
“Like I said, we have another opportunity this year to win some trophies and that would be incredible and maybe that would stop that noise around me a little bit.
“But I think in football in general, you’re always going to have people who doubt you, people who criticise you.”
Bayern will now have to wait on Sunday if Bayer Leverkusen, who trail by nine points and have a huge inferior goal difference of 30, fail to beat Freiburg.
If Bayer Leverkusen wins, Bayern can win the title with a point in their home clash with Borussia Monchengladbach on May 10.
