Due to the FIFA break, most of the squad will rejoin the team in the coming days, leaving Alonso with a limited group to work with during his initial session.
During the session at Ciudad Real Madrid, Alonso focused on physical conditioning and tactical exercises. The players engaged in demanding drills centered on possession, ball control, distribution, and pressing across the entire pitch.

The training aimed to build team cohesion and implement Alonso’s strategic vision ahead of their debut match in Miami. The team is scheduled to face Al Hilal on June 18 at the Hard Rock Stadium.
Several key players, including Militão, Courtois, Carvajal, Alaba and Brahim, participated in parts of the session with the group. The day concluded with running drills designed to improve stamina and agility.
Meanwhile, players such as Rüdiger, Mendy, Endrick, and Camavinga continued their recovery from injuries and Valverde worked inside the facilities, indicating a careful approach to managing player fitness.
The team will remain in Madrid for additional training sessions this week before traveling to the United States. Alonso is expected to log more practice time at Valdebebas as he prepares for their first game in Miami.
