Asante Kotoko SC announce new appointments to key positions

Asante Kotoko Sporting Club has taken a significant step in restructuring its administrative and technical departments with the appointment of four experienced professionals to key roles. The move is part of the club’s broader vision to strengthen its foundations and ensure long-term success on and off the field.
Among the new faces is Charles Kweku Hammond, who has been named Marketing and Brands Manager. He joins the club with a strong background in brand strategy and marketing. Holding a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hammond is expected to lead the club’s brand visibility initiatives across media platforms, leveraging his expertise in customer engagement and market development.
Also joining the Porcupine Warriors is Asenso Onyina , who takes up the role of Corporate and External Affairs Manager. A seasoned professional in public administration, Asenso holds an MA in Governance and Leadership from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
He previously worked with Legon Cities Football Club and will now be responsible for managing the club’s relationships with corporate bodies, stakeholders, and external institutions, as Kotoko aims to boost its collaborative efforts and commercial growth.
In a further bid to streamline its operations, Kotoko has appointed Christopher Demanya as Director of Operations. The former National Circles Council (NCC) Chairman brings valuable experience in leadership and club coordination. He will oversee the smooth functioning of all departments and play a strategic role in ensuring the club’s operations run efficiently.
On the technical side, Emmanuel Akwasi Kusi has been named Assistant Coach of the Youth Team. Known for his passion for developing young football talent, Kusi is expected to work closely with the club’s youth setup to unearth and nurture the next generation of Kotoko stars.

These new appointments underline Asante Kotoko’s ambition to build a professional, well-structured institution that can compete at the highest level while laying a strong foundation for the future.
