Medeama thrash Vision FC to maintain perfect start in GPL

Medeama has scored six goals and kept two clean sheets in their opening two games.

Medeama SC continued their perfect start to the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season with an emphatic 4-0 victory over Vision FC on matchday two at the Tarkwa TNA Park.

The Mauve and Yellows scored twice in each half to secure a comfortable win in front of their home fans.

Kamaradini Mahamudu broke the deadlock in the 17th minute with a composed finish before Abdul Salam doubled the lead to give the hosts a commanding advantage at the break.

Despite enjoying more possession, Vision struggled to create any meaningful chances and were punished further in the second half. Emmanuel Owusu added a third goal with ten minutes to play, before substitute Nurudeen Mohammed struck two minutes later to complete the rout.

Medeama have now won both of their opening games, having defeated Young Apostles 2-0 away on the opening day of the season.

Vision, meanwhile, remain winless after following up their opening day draw with Samartex with a heavy defeat in Tarkwa.
