In an official statement, Aduana Stars said:
“Aduana Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Samuel Boadu as the club’s new Head Coach.”

Boadu replaces Cioba Aristica and arrives with an impressive résumé, having guided Accra Hearts of Oak to the Ghana Premier League and FA Cup double in 2021.

The former Hearts of Oak boss left Berekum Chelsea after steering the Blues to an eighth-place finish with 50 points from 34 league matches.

He joined Chelsea in January 2025 after a brief spell as assistant coach of Raja Club Athletic, a role he departed in October 2024.

Aduana Stars finished ninth in the just-ended Ghana Premier League season, recording 14 wins, 10 draws, and 10 defeats in 34 matches.

The club will be hoping Boadu’s experience, attacking philosophy, and tactical discipline can help them return to title contention.

Boadu becomes the second Ghana Premier League-winning coach to take charge of Aduana Stars, following in the footsteps of Paa Kwesi Fabian.

He will be tasked with rebuilding the squad and mounting a serious challenge for silverware in the upcoming campaign.
