Juric leaves St Mary’s with one of the worst managerial records in Premier League history
Ivan Juric set to leave Southampton after relegation confirmed

Manager Ivan Juric is set to leave Southampton after the club’s relegation from the Premier League.
Sunday’s 2-0 defeat to Tottenham left the Saints 22 points adrift of safety, with only seven games remaining.
This marks the earliest relegation in Premier League history. Juric, who replaced Russell Martin in December, won just two of his matches in charge, one of which came in the FA Cup third round.

His only Premier League victory came against fellow strugglers Ipswich at the start of February. Since then, he has failed to secure a win in any competition, losing seven of his eight matches.
As a result, Juric leaves St Mary’s with one of the worst managerial records in Premier League history.
He averaged just 0.29 points per game, the lowest for any manager who has overseen 10 or more top-flight matches since 1992.
Juric’s tenure is the 11th-shortest in Premier League history, just one day longer than Claudio Ranieri’s stint at Fulham during the 2018/19 season.
His departure comes after a relegation clause was triggered in his contract.

This is the second time this season that Juric has been dismissed. He was sacked by Roma in November after winning only four of his 12 games in charge. It remains unclear who will replace him on a permanent basis.
In the meantime, first-team coach Simon Rusk is expected to take charge of the team until the end of the season.

Rusk briefly served as interim manager when Martin left St Mary’s earlier in the season.
Club legend Adam Lallana is also expected to play a role in the new coaching setup, with Juric’s backroom staff following him out the door.
