Pavlovic linked with Premier League move to Man United and Chelsea

Premier League giants Manchester United and Chelsea are reportedly in a fierce battle to secure the signature of Bayern Munich star Aleksandar Pavlovic this summer, as both clubs look to revamp their midfield for next season.

The 21-year-old midfielder has been pivotal to Bayern’s charge to secure a Bundesliga title under manager Vincent Kompany, and the Bavarian club have no plans of sanctioning an early exit for the talented midfielder.

According to a report from TEAMtalk, Premier League clubs have made enquiries for the player, but they have been informed that he is not available for transfer at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, the German international is reluctant to leave the reigning Bundesliga champions, with La Liga clubs, such as Real Madrid and Barcelona, also reported to be closely monitoring the defensive midfielder’s situation.

The midfielder has been a subject of a $70 million move away in the past, but it remains to be seen whether any club decides to test the resolve of the German champions with an offer in the summer.

Chelsea’s transfer policy fits perfectly for the player’s age, quality and experience – even for his age. Manchester United could use more depth in the middle of the park, and the 21-year-old would be an exciting long-term investment for both clubs.

Aleksandar Pavlović has a contract with FC Bayern Munich that runs until June 30, 2029.

The Red Devils are on a smooth trajectory to qualify for next season’s Champions League – a competition that every young player dreams of playing.

At the same time, there is a need to replace Casemiro, who has announced a shock departure from the club in the summer – the German midfielder will add defensive cover and technical ability in the middle of the park if signed.

Chelsea, on the other hand, could convince him with their exciting project and playing time while forming a strong midfield partnership alongside Moisés Caicedo.

Romeo Lavia’s recurring injury issues could prompt the Stamford Bridge club to seriously pursue his signing. Such a move would also strengthen the Blues’ defensive stability, allowing their creative players greater freedom to flourish.

However, the player has shown no signs of frustration or stress, and Bayern has given him no reason to throw in the dice anytime soon, as he looks to continue his development with regular football at the highest level.
