‘My players are motivated to give it everything’ against Atletico- Ancelotti

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has revealed his team is excited and motivated for their crunch UEFA Champions League last 16 second-leg clash against Atletico Madrid at the Metropolitano on Wednesday night.

The current holders of the competition showed a great level at home in the first-leg of the tie, but still have some work to do if they want to secure a fifth straight quarter final.

Speaking to the media in his pre-match interview, Ancelotti revealed Real are well prepared and motivated, believing the task ahead as one that will be fruitful.

“The players have excitement, motivation and desire to give it everything to qualify into the next round of the competition.”

Should Real progress at the expense of Diego Simeone’s Atletico, they will likely face Arsenal, who have all but qualified after their 7-1 thrashing of PSV away from home last week.

Real also look the favorites for this clash as Jude Bellingham returns from a suspension, aiming to contribute to a good result for Los Blancos on a big Wednesday night.
