Real Madrid are said to be big admirers of the Arsenal defender
Real Madrid prepared to wait until summer 2027 to sign Arsenal talisman

Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to wait until 2027 to sign top target William Saliba on a free transfer.
The Spanish giants are said to be big admirers of the French defender, with reports indicating they have tracked Saliba since his days at Saint-Étienne.
Although the 24-year-old joined Arsenal in 2019, Madrid have maintained a close relationship with his inner circle.

A summer move for Saliba seems highly unlikely. The defender is under contract with Arsenal until 2027, and the Gunners are expected to push for a contract renewal before the start of the 2025/26 season.
If Saliba does not commit to a new deal, Madrid are expected to make a move in 2026 or pursue a free transfer in 2027.
This season, Real Madrid have conceded 64 goals, 14 more than in the entirety of the 2023/24 campaign.
While rumours have suggested Madrid might approach Arsenal for Saliba in the summer, such a move is considered improbable.

The European champions’ preference appears to be securing Saliba for free in 2027, when he will be 26 years old.

According to a report from The Athletic, Real Madrid are actively considering several defensive options, with a new centre-back being a priority.
In addition to Saliba, Los Blancos have been linked with Jonathan Tah, who will leave Bayer Leverkusen on a free transfer this summer, as well as highly-rated youngster Dean Huijsen.
Huijsen, currently with Bournemouth, is a lifelong Real Madrid supporter.
Saliba featured in Arsenal’s 1-1 draw against Brentford on Saturday. He will now turn his attention to his potential suitors.
The Gunners also take a 3-0 lead into the second leg of their Champions League quarterfinal against Real Madrid at the Bernabéu on Wednesday.
