The Portuguese manager is expected to sign a two-year contract with AC Milan
AC Milan reach agreement with Ruben Amorim as new head coach

Serie A side AC Milan have reportedly reached an agreement with Portuguese manager Ruben Amorim as their new permanent head coach for next season, according to Sky Sports Italy.
The former Manchester United and Sporting CP manager is expected to sign a two-year deal with the option of a further year until 2029 at the San Siro.
Amorim was sacked by Manchester United after their latest 1-1 draw against Leeds United, before the conclusion of the 2025/26 season, following a disappointing run of results during his two-year spell in charge at Old Trafford.

The 40-year-old Portuguese manager’s tenure at Old Trafford lasted only 14 months since his appointment in November 2024 from Sporting.
Some reports indicated that there was internal tension between the manager and the United Chief, which played a significant role in his sacking in January 5.
He is now the frontrunner to take over as Milan head coach, with the Italian giants preparing for significant changes behind the scenes as they reshape both their coaching staff and executive structure ahead of the new campaign.
Milan’s restructuring plans are not limited to the coaching position, with the club also targeting several key appointments behind the scenes. Among them is Markus Krösche, who is reportedly close to being named the club’s new Head of Football.
