GPL Matchday 33 Wrap: Vision FC survive relegation as Dreams dent Gold Stars’ title hopes

Matchday 33 of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League produced major twists in both the title race and relegation battle, setting up a dramatic final day showdown.

Medeama SC moved within touching distance of the league title after title rivals Gold Stars suffered defeat to Dreams FC.

The Tarkwa-based side now require only a victory against Heart of Lions to secure the championship.

At the bottom of the table, Vision FC secured their Premier League status with a crucial away victory over Nations FC,

while Swedru All Blacks, Nations FC and Young Apostles remain in danger heading into the final round of fixtures.

At the Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, Vision FC guaranteed their stay in the top flight with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Nations FC.

Farouk Mohammed scored the decisive goal in the second half after capitalising on a costly error from the Nations FC goalkeeper.

Karela United boosted their survival hopes with a narrow 1-0 win over Swedru All Blacks at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
