Hearts of Oak SC part ways with Mas-Ud Didi Dramani

Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak SC have officially parted ways with head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani and his technical team following the conclusion of the 2025/26 football season.

The decision was announced in an official club statement released after a comprehensive technical review by the board.

Didi Dramani, who was appointed at the beginning of the 2025/26 season to replace Aboubakar Ouattara, guided the Phobians to a third-place finish in the just-ended Ghana Premier League campaign.

Hearts of Oak accumulated 54 points from 34 matches, winning 13 games and drawing 15. Despite their struggles in attack, the Phobians finished as the best defensive side in the league after conceding just 15 goals throughout the season.

The club, however, endured disappointment in the MTN FA Cup after suffering a shock Round of 64 elimination to Division Two side True Life.

In their statement, Hearts of Oak thanked Dramani and his backroom staff for their professionalism, commitment, and service during their time at the club, while acknowledging the discipline and structure they brought to the technical setup.

“As part of this transition, the team and players are currently in recess. The Board will, in due course, communicate the technical direction of the club as we continue to align our football philosophy with the long-term ambitions and identity of Accra Hearts of Oak SC,” part of the statement read.

Management also assured supporters that every decision being taken is aimed at strengthening the club both on and off the pitch, with the ultimate goal of sustained domestic and continental success.

The departure of Didi Dramani marks the end of a one-season spell with the Ghanaian giants as the club now turns attention toward appointing a new technical team ahead of the 2026/27 season.
