The absence of these players presents a challenge for Ghana’s squad depth as they prepare for crucial World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.

Ghana currently sit second in Group I with nine points from four matches, having secured three wins and one defeat, putting them level on points with Comoros.

Ghana’s qualifying campaign began with a 1-0 victory over Madagascar, followed by a loss to Comoros.

However, the Black Stars bounced back with consecutive wins over Mali and the Central African Republic in June last year, keeping their qualification hopes alive.
