Dean Huijsen Bournemouth Spain call up first

Teenage Bournemouth center half Dean Huijsen has been handed his first Spain senior team call up by Luis De La Fuente after an impressive run of performances this campaign in England.

Huijsen was not included in the squad but now walks into the team as a replacement for Barcelona’s Inigo Martinez, who sustained an injury against Atletico Madrid on Sunday.

In the Premier League this campaign, the 19-year-old has shown immense calm and character for Andoni Iraola’s side who aim to secure a European slot in the remaining 10 matches.
